Nabs three balls Sunday
Brown had three receptions on four targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Saints.
Analysis: Brown continued to serve as the Commanders' No. 2 wideout with Noah Brown (kidney) being placed on injured reserve. The 24-year-old Brown has generated seven receptions for 65 yards in six quarters of action since taking over for his injured namesake. Brown could generate deep-league appeal with his current role in next Sunday's tilt against the Eagles.

Replaces Noah Brown
Brown caught four of five targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 42-19 win over Tennessee, adding one carry for four yards.
Analysis: Brown picked up extra playing time in the second half after starting wideout Noah Brown left with a rib injury. The added snaps led to a few more targets than usual, and it's possible the former will have an expanded role again after a Week 14 bye if the latter isn't ready for Week 15 at New Orleans.

Two grabs in loss
Brown caught both of his targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: Brown played just 24 of the Commanders' 70 offensive snaps Sunday and was unable to contribute much in the contest. The fourth-year wideout's sparse usage continues to limit his potential for fantasy production, as fellow receivers Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown are seeing most of the targets from quarterback Jayden Daniels. Brown remains difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Titans.

Quiet in loss
Brown caught two of three targets for minus-13 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Brown played just 16 percent of the Commanders offensive snaps Sunday, his lowest snap share of the season. Though his three targets were his most since Week 7, the fourth-year wideout was unable to turn his opportunities into positive production. Buried behind Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown, Luke McCaffrey and Olamide Zaccheaus on the depth chart, Brown remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 11 matchup against the Eagles.

Targeted once
Brown caught his lone target for a 24-yard gain in Sunday's 27-22 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus and Luke McCaffrey have been rotating snaps behind No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin and No. 2 receiver Noah Brown. This was the fourth straight game in which Dyami Brown caught exactly one pass, and he's now up to eight consecutive weeks with either one or two receptions. There's not much reason to expect more than that Week 10 against Pittsburgh, considering the team's other wide receivers mostly have been playing well.

Makes one catch in Week 8 win
Brown secured his only target for six yards during Sunday's 18-15 win over the Bears.
Analysis: Brown, who played 32 percent of the offensive snaps, continues to mix in with Luke McCaffrey (36 percent) and Olamide Zaccheaus (35 percent) for No. 3 wide receiver reps behind top options Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown. The 2021 third-round pick has now logged seven straight games with at least one catch, but he's averaging just 19.1 yards per contest in that span. Brown will look to do more with his opportunities in Week 9 against the Giants.

Ready for Week 8
Brown (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Bears.
Analysis: Brown opened the week with back-to-back limited practices due to an ankle injury, but he was able to log a full session Friday, thereby clearing him for Week 8 action. After going without a catch in the season opener, he has at least one reception in six consecutive games, but the cumulative line of 9-128-1 on 13 targets leaves a lot to be desired.

Dealing with ankle injury
Brown was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
Analysis: Brown was fifth among Washington's wide receivers in routes and snaps during Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers. He typically sees around 1-to-3 targets per game, so any limitations for Week 8 wouldn't have much affect on the Commanders' game plan against Chicago.

Reels in 23-yard catch
Brown played 21 of the Commanders' 69 snaps on offense and recorded a 23-yard reception among his three targets in Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers.
Analysis: Brown's 21 snaps placed him fifth among Commanders receivers, with him trailing Terry McLaurin (49), Noah Brown (42), Olamide Zaccheaus (29) and Luke McCaffrey (26). Brown has recorded a catch in six straight games, but he hasn't topped 60 receiving yards in any contest and has found the end zone just once during that stretch. Even in deeper fantasy leagues, Brown doesn't profile as a reliable option.

Catches one pass
Brown caught his lone target for 11 yards in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Brown dropped to a 32.0 percent snap share, fifth most among Washington's wide receivers, after handling 55.0 percent the week before with Noah Brown inactive due to a groin injury. The Commanders rotate WRs more than most teams, but Brown would probably need multiple injuries in front of him to see more than 2-3 targets per game. Next up is a Week 7 home game against Carolina.

Scores 41-yard TD
Brown caught both of his targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in a 34-13 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Analysis: With Noah Brown (groin) inactive, Brown played 55 percent of snaps on offense, up from 22 percent in Week 3 and 25 percent in Week 4. He beat his defender for a 41-yard TD down the sideline shortly before halftime, but the one big play isn't likely to be enough to break free of a timeshare with Olamide Zaccheaus in the event Brown misses another game Week 6 at Baltimore.

Catches two passes against Bengals
Brown secured both of his targets for 16 yards in Monday's 38-33 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Brown continued his underwhelming start to the 2024 season Monday, catching just two passes for the second straight week. After seeing snap shares north of 50 percent in both of the Commanders' first two games, Brown dropped all the way down to 23 percent Monday, trailing Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown and Luke McCaffrey among Washington receivers.

Targeted four times in Week 2
Brown secured two of his four targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 21-18 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Brown saw his offensive snap percentage increase in Week 2, playing 69 percent of snaps against the Giants after playing 55 percent of snaps in Week 1. The fourth-year wideout's four targets were also an improvement after he didn't see a single target in the Commanders' debut. Brown has the potential to develop into a key player in Washington's passing attack, as fellow receivers Luke McCaffrey, Olamide Zaccheaus and Noah Brown don't present much of a road block to increased involvement. Not targeted
Brown wasn't targeted on 12 routes in a 37-20 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Analysis: Brown played 55 percent of snaps while rotating with Olamide Zaccheaus, who took 45 percent of snaps and caught one of three targets for 15 yards (on 13 routes). There's a good chance the two WRs continue to share playing time Week 2 against the Giants, but one or the other could potentially emerge as a full-time starter down the road.

Held out of preseason game
Brown didn't play in Sunday's 20-10 preseason win over New England.
Analysis: Neither did Olamide Zaccheaus, who seems to be Brown's primary competition for the No. 2 receiver spot after Jahan Dotson was traded to the Eagles last week. Dotson mostly worked the slot during Washington's first two preseason games while Zaccheaus and Brown split perimeter snaps with the first-team offense. One possibility is moving Zaccheaus to the slot and keeping Brown on the perimeter, although that wouldn't necessarily give Brown all the playing time in two-wide sets. Jamison Crowder and…read more

Catches three passes from Daniels
Brown started Saturday's preseason game against Miami and caught each of his three targets for 19 yards.
Analysis: All three receptions came from QB Jayden Daniels on the opening drive, but Brown rotated with Olamide Zaccheaus while Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson played nearly all the first-team snaps. Coach Dan Quinn suggested all the roles are up for grabs behind McLaurin, leaving Dotson, Brown, Zaccheaus and Luke McCaffrey to compete for playing time. Analysis: Brown had a 42-yard gain on the third play of the game, catching a perfectly thrown deep pass from rookie QB Jayden Daniels. Brown continued playing well into the second quarter and caught a 13-yard pass from third-string QB Jeff Driskel on an afternoon when Terry McLaurin was the only Washington wideout to be pulled from the game at the same time as Daniels. Looking good at camp
Coach Dan Quinn said Thursday that Brown has stood out at training camp, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Analysis: The 2021 third-round pick is in the final year of his rookie contract and hoping to impress a new coaching staff after catching only 29 passes over his first three seasons. It sounds like the new coaches have taken notice, perhaps giving Brown a chance to compete with Luke McCaffrey, Olamide Zaccheaus and others for the third and fourth spots at wide receiver. Incumbent starters Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson still top the depth chart and figure to take the lion's share of WR targets.

Quiet 2023 campaign
Brown caught 12 of 23 targets for 168 yards and a touchdown in 17 games during the 2023 season.
Analysis: The 2021 third-round pick had a quiet year apart from his 35-yard, game-tying touchdown in the final minute of an eventual loss to the Seahawks on Nov. 12. Brown had just two catches for seven yards the rest of the season and played more snaps on special teams than offense in each of Washington's final five games. He'll need to compete for a roster spot in 2024, the final year of his rookie contract.

Minimal role in loss
Brown didn't gain any yardage on his lone reception while playing 11 of the Commanders' 55 snaps on offense in Sunday's 45-15 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: Brown hasn't been able to build on the 35-yard game-tying reception touchdown reception he provided in an eventual 29-26 loss to Seattle in Week 10. In the Commanders' ensuing three contests, Brown has hovered between snap shares of 20 and 25 percent while compiling a 2-7-0 receiving line on five targets. With Washington's receiving corps at full strength at the moment, Brown is unlikely to see his role increase coming out of the team's Week 14 bye.

Held to one catch
Brown caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants.
Analysis: An early ejection for Curtis Samuel didn't have much impact on Brown's playing time, as Byron Pringle and Jamison Crowder also took on some of the responsibilities of the No. 3 WR role. There's not much fantasy potential in an offense where even the top two wideouts -- Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson -- are struggling to produce.

Scores game-tying TD
Brown caught both of his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-26 loss at Seattle.
Analysis: Brown played only 18 percent of snaps with Curtis Samuel returning from a toe/foot injury, but one of those plays was a 35-yard, game-tying TD with less than a minute remaining. The Seahawks responded with a field goal shortly thereafter, and Brown likely is looking at a depth role again in Week 11 against the Giants.

Puts up 33 yards
Brown caught two of four targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Patriots.
Analysis: Brown took advantage of a small bump in playing time with Curtis Samuel (foot) inactive, though Jamison Crowder was the primary replacement in the slot and got 14 more snaps than Brown (37-23). Brown and Byron Pringle should continue rotating in Week 10 at Seattle, but neither is likely to see more than three or four targets.

Goes without catch in Week 6
Brown failed to reel in his lone target across 11 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-16 win over Atlanta.
Analysis: Brown's 11 snaps tied his lowest total of the season. As the No. 4 receiver on the Washington depth chart, Brown will have a limited role on offense so long as all of Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel are healthy.

Catches one pass
Brown caught one of three targets for 11 yards in Thursday's 40-20 loss to the Bears.
Analysis: Brown has played between 22 and 32 percent of Washington's snaps on offense each week this season, operating as the No. 4 receiver and mostly seeing looks downfield (15.0 aDOT). He could get more work in the future if Jahan Dotson continues struggling, but there's probably not upside beyond two or three targets per week unless Dotson, Terry McLaurin or Curtis Samuel misses time with an injury. Next up is a Week 6 road game in Atlanta.

Two grabs in loss
Brown secured two of this three targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: Brown operated as the Commanders' No. 4 receiver Sunday, playing 25 of the team's 78 offensive snaps. Despite his limited opportunities, the veteran wideout was able to record his highest yardage total of the season so far. Even so, Brown is extremely difficult to trust for consistent fantasy production playing behind fellow pass catchers Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Curtis Samuel and Logan Thomas in Washington's passing attack. The Commanders will host the Bears in Week 5.

No catches
Brown was held without a catch on one target in Sunday's 37-3 loss to the Bills.

Brown caught each of his three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 35-33 win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Brown has played 27 and now 33 percent of snaps in Washington's first two games, running routes on around one-third of Sam Howell's dropbacks as the No. 4 receiver. While unlikely to usurp Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson or Curtis Samuel on the depth chart, Brown could become a near-every-down player if one of the three misses time with an injury (especially McLaurin/Dotson). Analysis: The 2021 third-round selection was on the field for 19 of the team's 71 offensive snaps, playing behind Terry McLaurin (63), Jahan Dotson (62) and Curtis Samuel (46). He did play ahead of wideouts Byron Pringle and Jamison Crowder, as the two didn't see a single offensive snap. Scores TD, avoids concussion
Brown caught two of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 29-28 win over Baltimore.
Analysis: Brown was the No. 4 WR for the first-team offense and scored a touchdown at the end of the first half after Terry McLaurin left with a toe injury. Brown also took a few snaps prior to McLaurin's exit, and later played with the second-stringers after halftime, hauling in a 16-yard catch from Jacoby Brissett. Just one catch in Week 10
Brown played 16 of the Commanders' 83 snaps on offense and finished with a 15-yard reception on his lone target in Monday's 32-21 win over the Eagles.
Analysis: Brown's 20 percent snap share played him fifth among Washington wideouts behind Terry McLaurin (86 percent), Curtis Samuel (64 percent), Jahan Dotson (41 percent) and Cam Sims (33 percent). Considering that Dotson was eased back into the mix with a light workload in his return from a five-game absence, both Sims and Brown look like candidates to see their roles reduced further with Dotson's playing time expected to increase in the weeks to come.

Held without a catch
Brown finished without a catch on one target in Sunday's 20-17 loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: Brown and Cam Sims essentially split the No. 3 WR role with Jahan Dotson (hamstring) missing another game, only it was Dax Milne who found the end zone on his lone target while playing just 16 percent of snaps. None of the bunch projects for much target volume in an offense built around Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel and the running backs. Inactive in Week 8
Brown (groin) is inactive for Sunday's Week 8 clash against the Colts, Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reports.
Analysis: The speedy second-year wideout will join rookie Jahan Dotson (hamstring) on the sideline, which leaves Taylor Heinicke short-handed going into what is already a tough matchup against the Colts defense. In Brown's absence, Curtis Samuel, Cam Sims and even tight end Logan Thomas should all be in line for a bump in opportunity behind top target Terry McLaurin.

Iffy for Week 8
The Commanders list Brown (groin) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis: After not practicing in any capacity last week before sitting out the Commanders' eventual win over the Packers, Brown was back on the field as a limited participant this week. It's unclear if the increased practice activity will be enough for Brown to gain clearance to play Sunday, but if he does, he'll likely be stepping into the No. 3 role at receiver behind Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel while rookie first-round pick Jahan Dotson (hamstring) misses a fourth consecutive game.

Takes limited reps Thursday
Brown (groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Brown's limited activity marks no change from Wednesday, but his ability to maintain that level of participation is at least a positive sign after he failed to practice in any capacity last week before sitting out Washington's win over the Packers. If Brown gets cleared to play Sunday in Indianapolis, he could serve as the Commanders' No. 3 wideout behind Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel with rookie first-round pick Jahan Dotson (hamstring) trending toward missing his fourth consecutive game.

Brown (groin) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Brown has yet to step on the practice field this week while he tends to a groin injury, giving him just one more chance to do so before the Commanders potentially make a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Packers. Fellow wide receiver Jahan Dotson (hamstring) maintained limited status from Wednesday to Thursday, meaning Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel could be doing much of the heavy lifting for the team at wide receiver this weekend.

Dealing with groin injury
Brown didn't practice Wednesday due to a groin injury, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis: After catching two touchdowns Week 5, Brown played just three offensive snaps during Washington's win over Chicago. The wideout's lack of participation Wednesday coupled with his limited role Week 6 suggests he picked up the groin injury in the win over Chicago. The extent of the issue remains unclear, but he'll have two more opportunities to attempt to practice before the Commanders need to make a decision on his status for a Week 7 matchup with the Packers.

Analysis: Brown was the star for Washington four days earlier, catching two of four targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-17 loss to Tennessee. Even then he played only 32 percent of snaps with Jahan Dotson (hamstring) out of the lineup, while Cam Sims took 59 percent. Brown then showed up on the Week 6 injury report with a quad injury, which likely was a factor in his playing time being scaled back Thursday. Sims caught just one pass for six yards while playing 72 percent of snaps, so Brown…read more

Suiting up Thursday
Brown (groin) is listed as active Thursday at Chicago.
Analysis: With Brown's status confirmed after he was limited during Week 6 prep due to a groin issue, he'll look to fill the void left behind by Jahan Dotson (hamstring) and tight end Logan Thomas (calf), both of whom are inactive Thursday. A rookie third-round pick, Brown opened his career with just one catch on four targets through the first four appearances, but he broke out this past Sunday against the Titans with a 2-105-2 line on four targets.

On track to play
Brown (groin), who is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bears, is expected to play, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Washington has already ruled out wideout Jahan Dotson (hamstring) and tight end Logan Thomas (calf) for the second straight week, but Brown looks like he'll avoid an absence due to the groin issue that resulted in him being listed as a limited practice participant Monday through Wednesday. While Dotson was sidelined for the Week 5 loss to the Titans, Brown stepped up to deliver 75- and 30-yard touchdown receptions, but he didn't reel in either of his other two targets across his 20 snaps on…read more

Questionable for Thursday's game
Brown (groin) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bears.
Analysis: Brown was the star for Washington in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Titans, scoring touchdowns from 75 and 30 yards out while playing only 34 percent of snaps on offense. He and Cam Sims split playing time filling in for Jahan Dotson, who is set to miss a second straight game with a hamstring injury. Brown's big Week 5 could lead to more snaps Thursday, if he's able to overcome the groin injury and play.

Limited in practice again
Brown (groin) logged another limited practice Tuesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Brown was also a limited participant on the team's estimated practice report Monday. With the team taking the field Thursday against the Bears, his inability to log a full practice two days out will make his status for Wednesday worth watching. This is especially true with Jahan Dotson (hamstring) still unable to practice, because if both were to sit, Cam Sims and Dax Milne would be worth a look in single-game DFS contests Thursday.

Limited on practice estimate
Brown (groin) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis: In Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Titans, Brown logged two catches on four targets for 105 yards and two TDs, while seeing action on 20 snaps on offense. Now that he's popped up on the Commanders' Week 6 injury report, the 2021 third-rounder's status is worth tracking ahead of Thursday's game against the Bears, especially in the wake of his Week 5 breakout effort.

Catches two long scores
Brown recorded two catches on four targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Titans.
Analysis: Brown made the most of his opportunities and tallied touchdowns of 75 and 30 yards. He has taken advantage of the absence of Jahan Dotson (hamstring) to earn four targets in consecutive games. While that volume isn't enough to give Brown a chance to remain consistently productive, it does represent an increase in his involvement in Washington's offense.

Draws season-high four targets
Brown corralled one of his four targets for a six-yard reception in Sunday's 25-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: The reception and the targets were the first of the season for Brown, who hadn't drawn a look in the passing game while playing 16 snaps on offense in Washington's first three games. He was still on the field for less than 30 percent of the time in Week 4, but Brown could see his playing time pick up Week 5 against the Titans. The Commanders are unlikely to have rookie wideout Jahan Dotson (hamstring) available for that contest and could turn to Brown to serve as his primary replacement.

Plays one snap
Brown played one snap on offense in a 36-27 loss to Detroit on Sunday.
Analysis: The 2021 third-round pick has seen four offensive snaps and no targets through two weeks, and he hasn't played all that much on special teams either. Brown's roster spot could come into question this season, depending on Washington's health at wide receiver and needs at other positions.

Drops two passes
Brown caught two of five targets for 42 yards in Saturday's 17-15 loss to Baltimore in the preseason finale.
Analysis: Brown made a nice snag on his first target but then dropped a couple passes. It's not a great sign, in any case, that he was on the field in a game where all starters were rested. The 2021 third-round pick likely has a roster spot, but only as the fourth or fifth receiver in an offense without much potential.

Struggles against Chiefs
Brown caught two of six targets for nine yards in a preseason loss to Kansas City on Saturday.
Analysis: While the 2021 third-round pick reportedly has displayed progress at training camp, he has only 23 yards from nine targets through two preseason games. Cam Sims, meanwhile, scored a TD on Saturday, making his own case for the No. 4 WR role. The top three appears pretty set with Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson and Curtis Samuel, leaving Brown, Sims and others to compete for depth roles.

Making case for role
Brown had a good first week of training camp, making a number of catches downfield, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Analysis: The 2021 third-round pick had minimal impact as a rookie, despite getting some starts at the beginning and end of the season. He'll likely be a backup again if everyone is healthy, potentially coming off the bench to provide a deep threat as the No. 4 receiver. Granted, the Commanders don't lack for speed in their starting WR group, with Terry McLaurin joined by Curtis Samuel and first-round pick Jahan Dotson. Gets some run with starters
Brown isn't likely to have an every-down role this year, but he did run with the first-team offense in Terry McLaurin's absence throughout most of the offseason program, Ethan Cadeaux of NBC Sports reports.
Analysis: The 2021 third-round pick actually opened his rookie season as a starter, but he lost the job after a slow start and then dealt with a knee injury. Brown ultimately caught only 12 of 25 targets for 165 yards in 15 games (six starts), and the Commanders then took WR Jahan Dotson in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The team likely envisions a top three comprised of Terry McLaurin, Dotson and a finally healthy Curtis Samuel, with Brown perhaps coming off the bench as a part-time deep threat.…read more

Disappointing debut campaign
Brown finished his 2021 rookie season with 12 catches for 165 yards on 25 targets, playing 15 of 17 games and logging 335 snaps on offense.
Analysis: The third-round pick started his first three games and five of his first six, yet entered the midpoint of the season with only eight catches for 81 yards. Brown then averaged only 11.2 snaps on offense over his final 10 games, stuck in a bench role even as Washington had minimal success finding productive pass catchers apart from top WR Terry McLaurin. Catches two passes
Brown played 13 snaps in Sunday's 56-14 loss to Dallas and caught both his targets for 53 yards.
Analysis: It's been a quiet rookie year for the third-round pick, even though he got plenty of playing time early on. He's been either injured or buried on the depth chart since October, but Brown finally made a big play with his 48-yard gain in the first quarter of Sunday's loss. While a starting job may not be in the cards this year, it is possible Brown gets a little more playing time over the final couple weeks of the season, perhaps stealings snaps from DeAndre Carter.

Brown caught his only target for six yards during Sunday's 17-15 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Brown played just six offensive snaps, sixth most among Washington's wideouts. The rookie third-round pick has continued to see his playing time significantly drop off since the beginning of the season and remains a long shot for a breakout down the stretch. Limited to eight snaps
Brown played eight snaps on offense without drawing any targets in Sunday's 29-19 win over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Curtis Samuel (groin) was out again, but Washington otherwise had all its wide receivers healthy and chose to use DeAndre Carter (3-56-1 on six targets and 67 percent snap share) as its No. 2 receiver. Brown, Dax Milne (27 percent) and Cam Sims (18 percent) also rotated in for some snaps, but it was mostly Carter and slot specialist Adam Humphries (52 percent) lining up alongside No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin (96 percent). Analysis: With Curtis Samuel (groin) out at least one more week, Brown could have a starting spot if he ends up playing. He may be a starter if he makes it back for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, as Curtis Samuel (groin) appears unlikely to play this weekend. Analysis: The rookie third-round pick hasn't done much through his first three games, despite handling the No. 2 receiver role -- at least in terms of snaps -- while Curtis Samuel (groin) has been on injured reserve throughout September. Samuel is eligible to return Week 4 at Atlanta, but it won't come as any surprise if he misses another game, which could allow Brown to make another start.
